How it started
In 2025, after nearly two decades building websites and publishing content online, I finally started my own podcast.
Very quickly, I realized podcasts had two major problems.
First, an average podcast generates a huge amount of content, but almost all of it is invisible to
Google, Bing, Perplexity, ChatGPT, and other discovery platforms because they cannot properly process audio.
Second, each streaming platform decides how shows look, how episodes are organized, and how creators are presented online.
And honestly, once you're inside Spotify or Apple Podcasts, it's very hard for a show to stand just with a small cover image.
So with all my years of experience building websites and growing them through SEO, I decided to build GoPod to help solve both of those problems.
That's how GoPod started.
Sam joined as co-founder, bringing his focus on marketing, growth, and helping shape the broader vision behind the platform.
Today, we're building GoPod together with one simple goal: Help podcasters get discovered beyond streaming platforms,
and create a stronger online presence for their shows.
